Questions for reflection

At many interfaith conferences, there are times of prayer or meditation arranged by members of a particular faith community to which others are invited.

- Are there rituals of your faith community in which you would not invite members of another faith community to participate?

- Are there rituals of another faith community in which you would be reluctant to participate or at which you would feel uneasy?

- Are there distinctions which should not be overcome between the guest and the host?

Imagine you were welcoming others to your prayer time: what would your prayer time look like? Write it up and reflect also on how it would feel to go to someone else’s prayers if invited.
