Minorities
of Europe (MoE)
Minorities of Europe was formed by a group of 5 young people who first met in Levocha, Slovakia in a conference organised by the Youth Foundation (Council of Europe) who had in 1995 a European anti-racism campaign called All Different, All Equal
Our goal is to establish an organisation that:
- Works across and with all communities – (minority/majority)
- Works to be relevant at both a local and at European level,
- Works through intercultural and informal lea
rning - Works to achieve equal participation for all young people in Europe.
The current Aims & Objectives of MoE are:
1. To promote intercultural relations between
minority & majority communities.
2. To overcome perception of powerlessness amongst young people
3. To contribute to the development of an intercultural Europe.
4. To provide positive examples of co-operation and interaction
5. To support others who share our vision as expressed in the MoE Charter.
